Welcome to the third entry of The Baseline! With the announcement last week of the start of production on Tennis Manager 2022, the diary this week is going to start introducing you to some of the members of the team at Rebound CG, and what we are getting up to in the day-to-day.

Jeremy (that's me): look at that handsome devil!
VINCENT, ANTOINE AND MYSELF
So firstly, my name's Jeremy, and I'm the community manager and business developer for Rebound. It's a fancy title, but it basically means that I do marketing and social media, and I chat directly with the community and our chief partners. I'm originally from the UK, while I work here at the Rebound office in Angoulême, France. I’m also the one writing these Dev Diaries for the coming weeks.
At the time of writing, Rebound has 12 members of staff, with that number fluctuating up and down over the months. It mostly depends on whether we’ve got a big project coming up, which means a big workload, so that we'd need extra hands on deck to handle QA for bug-fixing; designers to implement new features, and so on.
All in all, we’re roughly the size of a football team, with a passion for tennis! While we cannot compete with the big dogs over at Football Manager, for example, we are still very efficient and pragmatic with the resources that we have. To start off with, let’s go ahead with introducing the marketing team, where I work.
Alongside me these days is the lovely Vincent, who handles the social media as well, and focusses more on potential clients and sponsors. Just recently we’ve been working together to contact tennis players and get them involved with the next instalment of Tennis Manager (a Dev Diary on that later!). He is a very fun guy to work with, and we get along really well. Between us we complete the marketing team alongside Antoine, our head of studio.
Antoine seems to do everything! He’s both the head of marketing and the head of the studio. He jumps from meeting to meeting, from topic to topic, and always seems to know what’s going on. He’s there in the morning when I arrive at the studio, and there when I leave for home. A crazy man!

This is Vincent, who handles our professional partnerships and content creation.
TAKING THINGS WEEK BY WEEK
Every Monday all three of us chat about our tasks for the week gone by, and plan for the week to come. It’s here that we push new ideas and try to keep a track of everything as it comes. It certainly keeps me in check, because with everything going on day to day, it can be hard to have your mind in 10 places at once. For example, this week just passed we chatted about how we can excite more people to join our Discord community, and how long our upcoming projects might take to get done. It sounds obvious, but it’s vitally important that we’re all on the same page when we have many months of work ahead of us!
So for now we’re finishing the planning of how we will approach 2022, and how we will present it to our community. One thing we thought of was starting a Dev Diary to keep you up to date with what happens behind the scenes. And so, that’s what you’re reading right now! I hope you enjoy following our journey in creating the new game, and that you come check out the next edition this time next week.
Until then --- Jeremy

Antoine, who directs us week by week as to what we get up to.
